Our Fun Mother's Day, Amazing Seafood Dinner + A Few Thoughts About My Mama!
Hey you guys! I hope all is well! This past weekend was the best weekend in the world! As most of you may know, it was Mother's Day so you know that means we had to celebrate BIG TIME! I'm sure everyone loves their mama but I REALLY love mine! There's not a day goes by where I don't appreciate everything she has done for me and for all of the time that we spend together! That's why the mission was clear, we had to go all out for my mama to make sure that she enjoyed her special day!
We surprised her with balloons and lots of other goodies that she absolutely adored!
And of course, this card fit my mama 's personality which is why we HAAAD to have it! Ha!
Now yall already know that we are from the greatest state in the world (Louisiana) and everyone knows we know our seafood pretty well! We love a good batch of shrimp and tartar sauce ANYDAY so you know we had to bring our good tastes to the kitchen this past weekend!
We started off with a good oleee' batch of corn on the cobb! Who doesn't love corn on the cobb because I sure do! I just love the way the sugar and butter taste when it soaks real good in between the corn!
Next up we decided to dive right in with the shrimp, boiled eggs and crab legs! Yall, when I tell you that this was sooo amazing, I wish I could teleport back in time just so that I can some more! Ha! Ha!
Now you know we ain't eating no shrimp without a good batch fish either! My mama fried this fish to absolute perfection and it was everyone's favorite part of the meal!
I just had to throw in one more close up of that yummy shrimp and crab legs! YUMMMMMMM!
All in all, I am pretty sure my mama enjoyed her day! As a matter of fact, we all enjoyed the day of fun!
My mama is the best mama in the whole entire world! I love her so much and want to be just like her when it's my turn to "mom" on my own! I love everything that she does for us and she always makes sure that we are fed, clothes and chasing our dreams! My sisters and I are very thankful to have someone as amazing and smart to help guide us through this world! We love you and hope you enjoyed your day!!!
