All of The Skincare And Makeup Products I Have Been Loving This Spring/Summer
Hello and Happy Wednesday! Whew, this week is just flying right on by! I can't believe we are almost a halfway through June! Someone, please make it slow down! Ha! Anyways, today I thought I would pop on here and share a few things I have been loving in my beauty regimen as of lately. I don't know about you guys but when I find beauty products that I love, I always end up using it excessively for long periods of time! I guess you could say these are some of my most used items for both spring and summer of 2019! Yes, I do realize that we have NOT made it into summer yet but I know I won't change anything up until maybe around Fall because this is what has been working for me so far this year!
Mac Studio Fix Foundation
YALL! When I say I love this stuff, I mean I really love this stuff! I used to wear this foundation all the time a few years ago and then I stopped because I felt like it wasn't giving me the smooth coverage that I knew I wanted to achieve! It wasn't until around the winter time of this year is when I decided to give it another shot and I am very glad that I did! Not only does it make my face look smooth BUT it also matches my skin tone perfectly (which is a MEGA plus or me)!
Laura Mercier Glow Powder
TWO WORDS: SUMMER GLOW! I swear to you, this is all you need to achieve that perfect bronzy look for the summer time. I like to apply this on my nose, cheekbones, and shoulders to make myself look like I stepped straight out of Twilight! Ha! Seriously, it is totally worth it if you decide to try it!
Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum
As far as skin care, I don't like to put too much into my face because I have naturally oily skin! For the longest time, I would go to bed unmoisturized because my skin would feel overly dewy! However, over the winter time, I started to experience really dry skin and I needed something that would hydrate my skin but not make it overly oily. That's when I decided to try the Hyaluronic Serum in hopes that it would do what I needed. I can honestly say that this serum not only hydrated my skin but also locked in moisture without causing any breakouts! I have already replaced this bottle twice because I love it that much! Oh, and it also works well in the summertime under makeup to keep the face looking full and fresh! It's an absolute must-have!
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream
I normally use my Hydro Boost Gel Cream at night time for an extra layer of locked in moisture for my skin! I recently started using this gel cream two months ago and so far the results have been good! I love this cream specifically on days when I am out in the city without any makeup on and it makes my skin feel rejuvenated and fresh during the day!
Witch Hazel
I have been using the Dickinson's Witch Hazel for as long as I can remember! I suffered from acne as a kid and I would always use a cotton ball and swipe some of this across my face and would always see healing results. There are all types of "Witch Hazel" brands on the market but this one by Dickinson's is the original and the ONLY one that I will ever buy! #THEBEST
Shea Butter (Lavender)
And last but not least, I have been loving the shea butter from the Farmer's Market lately! I love that it is smooth, natural and only has three ingredients! My skin is very sensitive so this works well when I apply it all over my body after a warm bath! I have been using this brand for about two years now and it has yet to fail me! I also like to keep a small one in my bag for when my hands become dry throughout the day! I would say it is almost "multi-purposeful" and can be used on all parts of the body! I apply this everywhere except for my face because I have products specifically for that area! Other than that, this is the best shea butter out there right now!
