Teacher To Be | Finding My Summer Motivation To Study And Focus On My Career Goals!
I have recently come to the conclusion that I am not focused enough in my life! Between balancing real life and studying, I cannot seem to get a grip on everything around me! Thankfully enough, I have decided to come up with a few alternatives that not only will help me survive the summer but make it through the rest of the year as well! So grab a cup of tea or coffee, and let's dive right on in shall we?

Finding My Summer Motivation (3 Simple Ideas I Use)
  • One thing I have been doing is setting aside my personal study times. Yes, this is a real thing for me. If I don't set aside times that will help me study better, I often find that I won't do it at all! For me, it has been easier to either write it down in my journal or make little notes in my Google Cal (which I am obsessed with by the way)!
  • I have also made it a personal mission to visit the library 1-2 times a week. Yeah, studying at home is fine but studying in a quiet library is even better. I always feel more productive when I decide to switch my study environment from time to time.
  • The third thing I have been doing that has helped me keep up with my summer motivation is to set aside personal leisure time! It's so easy to work so hard towards a goal that you forget to treat yourself and enjoy life! When I feel like I am working so hard, I always put away my books and go outside to get a bit of fresh air! This always helps me get my mind back into the right headspace so that I can get back on track with my current workload.
Staying motivated during the summertime can be very challenging but with the right attitude, anything is possible. That's why I chose three simple things to live by this summer so that I won't feel overwhelmed during this weird transitional field that I am in at the moment. I don't know who needs to hear this but adulting is hard ya'll but it's possible if you can grasp a positive mindset about it.

That's why I am determined to not only have a great summer but let my career take me wherever I am supposed to be. I feel like I have been making career goals since I was in elementary school and now I feel like I need to relax from the noise of it all. For the first time in forever, I am not worried or concerned about what the future holds for me. At this point, I'm either going to be a dancing, teaching blogger who works 82,000 jobs or I'm going to do something totally unrelated to what I am interested in now! WHO KNOWS! But what I do know is that no matter what lane I choose to drive in, I'll be very happy doing it. At the end of the day, I want to do everything in life that makes me happy and brings me fulfillment in my heart! To me, that's all that matters! Clearly, I have always felt this way or else I would NOT have chosen a career in dance/teaching field in the first place! Ha! It doesn't pay all that well so you HAVE to love it to want to do it in a sense and I am more than ok with that!

Anyways, that's all I pretty much have to chat about today. Just wanted to share a few thoughts on what I am focusing on this summer. I am so much closer to completing this school process that I can almost taste it. I almost feel like I am getting a bit of senioritis in this process but I have to keep going! The journey is only JUST now beginning and I can't give and get tired now! It will only be a matter of time before I am fully stable in my own career and focusing on new areas in my life! But until then, I'll keep it lowkey and work on the smaller parts first. Before I go, what goals are you guys working on this summer? Let me know in the comments down below!

Always Living and Forever Learning,
