Happy Friyay everyone! I don't know about you guys but I am SUPER happy that the week has finally ended! However, I must say that I am a little shocked that it's already July 5th! It's almost time for school to be back in session and I am SHOOK, do you understand me!? I don't know how summer has managed to slip through my fingers but it surely has! I know that it has technically "just begun" but we all know August IS that month that signifies all of those fun times are over and now I have to be more responsible than I'd like to be! I try not to think about it too much but sometimes I can't help it! However, today I decided to set all of those thoughts aside so that I could head out into the city to enjoy life a little bit! You guys know I love my Sno Cones so of course, it was on my list of things to do today!
My mama and I decided to order our Sno Cones and do a bit of chatting it up while my sisters waited on their cones to be served!! We always bond over a little gossip but we had to keep it quiet because other people were around! Ha! I know they may not have a clue about who was talking about BUT you just never know! Gotta be safe out here in these streets! Ha! Also, can we talk about how this lipstick did not budge in the midst of all of my eating of the snow cone? Maybelline never ceases to amaze me and I will continue to buy this one time and time again! It's truly a summer gem!
Anyways, my sisters were also pleased with their snow cones as well! We all chose super random flavors because none of our taste buds are alive! I thought for sure my baby sister would hook her up but she chose a simple cotton candy flavor with no toppings (which is very unlike her) and she loved it!
And of course, Mori chose to get the "Tiger's Blood" flavor because she's such a basic betty sometimes (sorry sis) Ha! I begged and begged for her to try mines and she finally did and absolutely HATED it! I am convinced that she was saying that she didn't like it on purpose because mines tasted the BEST out of everybody's! She just didn't want me to have the credit that I deserved but it doesn't matter because deep down inside she knows mines was better than hers! Ha! Next time we will let the people judge to see who had better flavors!
Of course, these two had to go and sit in a little corner and enjoy their treats. My mama said that Clo lowkey had an amazing flavor as well! I decided to ask her what it was and she responded with "wedding cake and cotton candy with condensed milk". I literally almost flipped my wig because those are my go-to flavors and I have always gotten them since I was a kid but my mama always said that was a nasty combo! See, she has favorites and I knew it all along! Ha!
Anyways, what a wonderful way to end a super hot day! These summer days have been such a drag BUT it was nice to finally get a little bit of fresh air and something cool to eat. Y'all know me and those hot days don't get along well and I like to do things that will keep me happy and relaxed while I'm out and about around the city! All in all, today was a good one! Oh, but before I sign off for the evening, I just want to say that the flavors I chose were "cotton candy and toasted marshmallow with condensed milk" and it was AMMMAAZZZING! It was the best combination that I have tried thus far! Well, that's all I have to say for now! Enjoy the weekend and I'll chat with you guys later!
