Quick OOTD: I Am SOOOOO Obsessed With This Little Black Dress + Other New Accessories!
Happy Monday everyone, I hope all is well! I cannot believe we have already kinda completed the first week of August, yet here we are! I will try not to dwell on that too much today because I believe we are all aware of how fast this year has been flying by! Anyways, on to the more important matters of this post shall we? I think it's safe to say that I love to post a quick ootd over here on the blog from time to time mainly because I love looking back at my style evolution and seeing all of those crazy style decisions I was making a few weeks back! Ha! I just gotta say that one of the best style decisions I have made thus far is finding this little handbag at the thrift store. I don't know about you guys but I am very picky when it comes to handbags and I will choose convenience over cute any day! That's why as soon as I saw this little vintage bag I knew I HAD to have it! Not only is it the perfect size BUT it also is deep enough to carry around all the things *which is a MAJOR bonus for me*!
I also love that this handbag can go with literally every single outfit in my closet! I am the type of person that likes to buy 1-2 handbags every other season so it is very important to me that the handbags I choose are extremely versatile! I decided to put this bag to the test and see how it would pair with this little black dress and it passed with flying colors! Everyone knows how hard it is to ix black and brown and you have to go about it with the utmost care or it will surely look a hot mess! Ha!
And can we talk about this little black dress? I found this little number on sale for only $5 and I am completely obsessed! I have been looking for something like this to rock for a while now but everyone that I found was either too expensive or made from flimsy material! As soon as I picked it up off of the rack I just knew I had to have it by any means necessary! Thankfully, this dress was in an XS which means it was made just for me! However, I did have to try it on to make sure that it wasn't too tight and I was very happy to report that this dress fit like a glove.
And as for accessories I decided to keep it simple! I normally wear my same pieces all the time but I just wanted to point out the fact that I have been loving my oval, red ring that is located on my right middle finger! I thrifted that ring a few weeks ago and have been rocking it daily ever since! #socute
And last but certainly not least, can you believe I purchased these shoes for $5 as well! What a steal! When I first saw these, I didn't know how I was going to pair them but I swear I have been wearing them with everything in my closet because they make me feel like I am walking on a cloud! #perfect
And that's the little update on the outfit that I wore this weekend! I cannot wait to style this in other ways this upcoming Fall! Anyways, I think I will get ready to sign off for the day!
