Happy October: Spooky And Fun Halloween Movies To Watch Alone On Netflix!
Hey yall! The spooky month is amongst us and I am super excited about it! October is my favorite month of the year not only because it's my birthday month but because of all of the fun things that happen around this time of year! I love all of the pumpkins, costumes, and apple spiced cider and were not even gonna talk about all of the cute clothes that I already have lined up in my closet! So ready!
But my most favorite thing about this time of year is all of the movies that you can watch on Netflix! Now I know Netlfix is a new concept but it is something I have been using for about most of my 20's and it is still my most absolute streaming service to date. One of y favorite things that I love about Netflix is the copious amounts of Halloween movies that we are blessed with every single year. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE ABC'S line up for "31 Days Of Halloween" special but there is nothing like cozying up in bed with a nice little movie going on the laptop and a nice cup of tea. I have so many movies that I love to watch every year but this time I have a few favorites that I would like yo share with you guys! Grant it, these are horror scary BUT they are cutesy scary and that's what I love about it!
Halloween Movies I LOVE To Watch
- Casper- is a kind young ghost who peacefully haunts a mansion in Maine. When specialist James Harvey arrives to communicate with Casper and his fellow spirits, he brings along his teenage daughter, Kat.
- Goosebumps 2- the plot follows two young boys who accidentally release monsters and car other creatures from the Goosebumps franchise in their town after opening an unpublished Goosebumps manuscript titled Haunted Halloween, causing a wave of destruction on Halloween night.
- Coraline- exploring her new home, a girl named Coraline discovers a secret door, behind which lies an alternate world that closely mirrors her own but, in many ways, is better. She rejoices in her discovery until Other Mother and the rest of her parallel family try to keep her there forever. Coraline must use all her resources and bravery to make it back to her own family and life.
- Mostly Ghostly- The plot revolves around Max, an 11-year-old boy who ends up having the power to see ghosts. He meets two kids who are turned into ghosts named Nicky and Tara who are trying to find their parents.
- The Vampires Assistant- Teenager Darren Shan meets a mysterious man at a freak show who turns out to be a vampire. After a series of events, Darren must leave his normal life and go on the road with the Cirque du Freak and become a vampire.
- Creeped Out- Creeped Out is a series of spellbinding, enchanting and intriguing tales. ... set in a different place and time, with different characters exploring their way through the unexplained.
And these are just a few of my favorite movies to watch on Netflix during this time of year! I can always get lost within a good movie on Netlfix and this is the perfect time of year to watch something that adds a little fun to the night!
