The Yellow Dress That Makes Me Feel Nice And Mellow
Hey guys and welcome to a brand new blog post! How are you guys holding up right now! I am just at home chilling after a small day of getting out of the house! I decided that today would be the perfect day to get up and get cute so that's what I did! Grant it, I wasn't out long but it was long enough to wear my favorite dress around the city! I know it wasn't much but those few minutes of fresh air sure does a girl's mind and body some good! Since the future trajectory is looking a bit different I have decided that now would be a great time to begin to practice getting dressed more frequently even If I don't want to! With that being said, I thought the best way to start would be to grab one of my favorite pieces from my closet to twirl in for awhile.
Since today was somewhat gloomy I decided to grab my favorite yellow dress to bring a little sunshine into my life! I have worn this beauty on the blog before but this is the first time that I have rocked this dress without a jacket! The weather was a steamy 82 degrees today which meant ya girl has had a lot of initiative to get dressed! One of my favorite things I love about this dress is its color! I seriously believe that you CANNOT go wrong with any orange, yellow, or pink tones in your wardrobe during this time of year! Spring is known to be such a drag so in order to keep things lively, I LOVE making sure I have bright colors surrounded by me at all times! Not only does It help my overall mood BUT it also is a major confidence booster as well!
And you already KNOW I had to add my favorite boho-chic bag for a small pop of color! These are some of my favorites bags to carry around in the summertime because it is so easy to style and keep all of my go-to items in! I also love how this bag added a little slouchy look to the dress and really became a staple piece to the entire wardrobe! And last but certainly not least, you know I had to wear my favorite shoes in all of my closet! Ha! I love these so much that every time I wear them I always try to walk light because I don't want them to get messed up! Ha! Needless to say, I was very happy to be stomping around the city in these shoes today!
