Do You Guys Still Mask Or What?

Do You Guys Still Mask Or What?
Do You Guys Still Mask Or What?
How long has it been since you last masked? Is it something that you do very often? Is it even an important factor in your skincare routine? These are all of the questions I used to ask myself before I made it apart of my regular routine recently. I am one of those people that loved a good face mask every six months or so and then I wouldn't grab one for another for the rest of the year! Now since being at home more often I have decided to make face masks apart of my weekly routine! Grant it, I have not had problematic skin in recent years BUT  I do have acne scarring so I like to use items that are super delicate for my skin and make me feel nice and hydrated! I also try to stay away from things that have beads in them because I have learned in more recent years that it tears your skin up like crazy (and who wants that)? NO ONE, of course!

I am no expert in the mask department but I do like to try different things to see how my skin will react. I love to use items such as avocado or coconut because it makes my skin feel velvety smooth after the process! Anyways, since I have been using a mask for the last three months here are a few things I have begun to notice and I am going to share them with you guys down below!
Do You Guys Still Mask Or What?
  • My skin has become sooo much softer! I don't know what It is but I feel like maybe my skin had become super dehydrated and now it's finally getting some nutrients after all of this long time!
  • Ever since I have been masking more often I can always tell if I missed my scheduled appointment to do so! It's like I can no longer go two weeks without my mini facial or my skin starts to miss it!
  • I honestly feel like my makeup has been applying smoother and better now that I mask frequently! I don't know if its because masking pulls off dead skin cells or what but my makeup application process has been better and faster than ever!
  • I don't know about anyone else but after I use a face mask my confidence to walk out of the house makeup-free is magnified by 1000%!!
  • I have noticed that I have experienced a lot less skin irritation when I am out in the sun as well! I have the type of skin that burns sooooo easily and I can honestly say that masking and moisturizing have kept my sunburnt skin under control!
So there you have it! All of the reasons why I have been loving nurturing my skin with face masks lately! Grant it, I don't have a favorite brand as of yet but I do like any type that bubbles on my face or gets hard and I have to peel away from my pores! What's your favorite type of mask to use? Let me know in the comments down below! See you guys around! PS: Don't forget to take care of yourself this week!
