Beauty Q&A: Fav Lipstick, How I Learned To Do My Makeup, Eyelash Extensions?
Hello all! I have been getting quite the few beauty questions so I thought I'd answer them all here today!

Favorite Foundation:
I have been loving the Mac Studio Fix Foundation in the shade NW45 and it has been looking fabulous on me! It is something that I stopped buying a few years back but my skin has built back it's natural oils again and it has been looking nice and dewy for the winter time! It's def a current fave right now!
Eyelash Extensions or Mascara?
Actually, neither! I love a pair of falsies more than anything! My mama used to apply eyelash extensions on my face all the time but my eyes are too almond shaped and it always felt uncomfortable for me! I also used to be a big fan of Mascara but I don't like the way it makes my under eyes look and I always felt like it made my eyelashes come out when removing at the end of the day.
What kind of highlighter do you use?
I love the Laura Mercier Translucent in the shade Medium Deep! I love to apply it all over my face so that I can look just as sparkly as the vampires in Twilight! Ha!
Do you ever switch your lipstick colors?
Very rarely. I love my maroons, berry tones, brown tones and that's mainly what I feel most confident in. However, if I am wearing any other shade I love to rock a gold tones lip color but it's very hard to find during this time of year! If you guys know where to find a fierce gold then let me know!
How did you learn to do your makeup?
Well, young lads, a long time ago before there were beauty bloggers/youtubers, I learned the old fashioned way and that was by watching my mama in the mirror! Yep, that's how I learned! My mama taught me everything I needed to know with makeup and that's how I became so good at it! I don't know how to do anything fancy but I do what works best for me and that's how I like it!
What's the best eyebrow pencil?
Well, I love my Anastasia Dip Brow Cream and Pencil! It was a bit pricey but it's still one of my best purchases to date! I mean, it is your eyebrows so you have to make sure you're giving it the best care in the world....right?
What's your all-time favorite lipstick?
Lately, I have been loving my Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in the shades, Pioneer & Believer.
Favorite Makeup Brushes?
Actually, I don't have a favorite nor could I even name a brand off top of my head. I just apply my makeup with those reusable sponges and keep it moving. I like to keep my makeup routine simple and to the point! I'm not too keen on the difference between a foundation brush or a highlighting brush, I just use what comes with the makeup or buy disposable/reusable applicators!
What's your most underrated beauty item right now?
CHAPSTICK! I could never live without it! I am a very big fan of anything naturally made from the local market or anything dealing with Burt's Bees! Oh, and I LOVE my Rosebud Salve, it's the best!
What's the best place in your house to apply makeup?
Def, in front of a window! Natural lighting is always best! Even though I have pretty amazing lighting in my bathroom, I do notice that it turns out slightly different as opposed to when I apply it with natural sunlight.
