Five Happy Things In My Life Right Now!
- I finally met with my advisor and things went really well! I love that I am able to talk to her and she has been able to lead me in a better direction with my life. I am not new to the whole "college experience" thing so I know how horrible some advisors can be so when you find a good one you better keep her around! Ha! Anyways, at the meeting, we talked about the other ways that I could become a teacher and how I will continue to study throughout the summertime! I am feeling pretty good about where I am going career-wise and can't wait to tackle the weekend in full swing! #hellosummertimefun!
- I went shopping and picked up two different linen jumpsuits from a boutique! I haven't been able to find any good linen items for a while now so when I saw those, I went ahead and purchased two of them! I decided to try on two different sizes because I know that "small" varies in boutiques than regular stores and I was absolutely right! I ended up having to purchase both of them in medium but they both fit just like a glove! I decided to go with two different colors; orange and green! I chose those two colors mainly because it is spring time and I want to wear things that stand out and make me feel great! During the winter time, I always wear super dark clothing so I love spending Spring and Summer in the brightest clothes possible! Oh, I have also been obsessing over cute colored shoes as well! I don't know about you guys but I love a good shoe that stands out! I normally wear the same outfits over and over again so it helps to have cute shoes, accessories, and handbags to match what I'm wearing every single day!
- My mama made me a few new earrings and I am obsessed with them! I am so happy that I have a mama who knows how to not only make jewelry but do hair as well! That lady is a triple threat! Ha! Oh, and I also purchased a few new earring cuffs as well! I love to wear earrings up and down my ears BUT I don't have any extra piercings mainly because I had an allergic reaction when I tried to get a second piercing, so I have had to opt for the cuffs ever since then! Anyways, as you know, I couldn't contain my excitement when I found a few cute ones out on the shelf! They are really hard to come by during this time of year so I made sure to buy quite a few of them! Normally when I see something that I love, I always decide to buy a bunch of them because I never know how long they're going to be in store! I found two pearl ones, diamond ones, and three gold ones as well!
Anyways, that's my little round up of happiness for the week! Sometimes it takes the simple things in life that makes me feel the best! I am learning to appreciate all of the little things around me especially since the summertime is starting and I just want to be out here living my best life every day! Ha!
