Little Dressing Room Try ON Haul + Two New Shirts!
Hey guys and welcome to a brand new blog post! I thought I would hop on here and share a few items that I purchased from the store recently! As we all know, spring is right around the corner and I am slightly unprepared BUT I am a firm believer that you can make anything happen at the last minute! Ha!!
But before we get started I must be honest, ya girl has been struggling with finding things that I love but I am learning to expand my horizons when it comes to looking for new style pieces. I really feel like this winter was all about dressing up to the max and making sure that I look fly but this season I am all about that casual and simple look because there is nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable in this unbearable heat that I know the south plans to unleash this upcoming spring and summer! However, I shall remain optimistic in my journey of finding some cute items to rock this spring! Needless to say, I was able to find one or two items this weekend and I must say that it did put a little pep in my step when it comes to figuring out my current wardrobe situation! Anyways, enough yapping, let's take a look at a few of the pieces that I found and purchased recently shall we?
I don't know exactly what my style will be this spring but I am hoping for pastel colors, florals, and a few long sleeve items! I normally like to ditch my jacket during this time of year so it is safe to say that I am more invested in finding items like the ones pictured above! I love looks like this mainly because they are easy to wear over a pair of jeans or a pair of denim shorts when it's a tad bit warmer outside!
One of the first items that I found was this peachy/pink flowy top and I am absolutely obsessed with it!
As soon as I laid my eyes on this top I knew I had to have it! The only problem was that it was offered in only one size S and normally I wear an M in tops that are shaped like this! The Lord must have KNOWN I wanted this shirt because as soon as I slipped it on it was a perfect fit! I immediately took the shirt off and hung it on the wall because I had already made it up in my mind that this was going to be my go-to top for this spring!
Ok, Ok, OK I know I said I was looking for brighter colors this spring but I just could not help but try this little shirt on! Can you honestly tell me that you would have seen this on the rack and left it there? NOPE!
At first, I thought this was a dress but as soon as I slipped it on I knew I had to have some pants on underneath it! Ha! Back in my high school days, I would have tried to wear this without pants but I ain't nowhere near as bold to try it in this day and age! LOL! Needless to say, this top was still a hit in my life and I quickly made the decision that I was going to purchase this little beauty as well! Grant it, it was on sale for $14 but I think that was a pretty good deal for a top with this type of quality!
As you can see I walked out of the store a happy camper! I purchased two new shirts to add to my wardrobe and I cannot wait to style them later this week!
