A Little Winter Outfit Story
Hello and happy Monday! I don’t know about you guys but I am super ready to get the week started just so I can be that much closer to the weekend again! Ha! OK yall, I have a quick question! Does the world seem a little bit less chaotic lately? I’m not sure what’s going on but life seems soooo much calmer and I ain’t mad about it! 2020 was super wild and I want nothing more than to have a positive 2021! Grant it, life has been a little difficult to manage but that’s just the way things are right now. Some days are good, and some days I ask myself why do I have the audacity to move on when countless others cannot. I am learning to stop putting myself under so much pressure and try to live life the best way that I know how! At the end of the day, most of our lives have changed and sometimes we just have to deal with the cards that life has dealt us. I hate that that had to be my first big lesson at 30 years old but here we are…! Hopefully, there will be sweeter lessons to learn throughout the year for me and everyone else! Anyways, enough of that, let’s have a little chat about the outfit that I put together today, shall we?
Ok, before we even get started I bet you already know what I’m going to say! This entire look is thrifted except for my tights and face mask! I was super excited to put together this look today because I have not worn a dress in such a long time and today was the day to break that habit!
I decided to pair this navy blue dress with my favorite thrifted handbag and red shoes! I know this entire look is a little all over the place but I feel so much better when I incorporate color into my wardrobe!
Also, can we taka a moment to appreciate my favorite pair of heart sunnies? Ugh, soooo cute!
And of course, you guys know we are still in the middle of winter so that means I HAD to wear a coat even though I didn’t want to! However, I’m glad I did grab my coat because the weather was unusually cold today! If you have been reading my blog for a while now then you KNOW how I feel about the wintertime and I cannot wait for it to pass by! I mean, I do love the cute outfits but I am ready for warmer skies and warmer weather. I find it hard to get dressed when it’s cold outside because it makes me want to forfeit cuteness for comfort! Ha!
