Reasons Why I Still Blog

As a writer and blogger, I have been blogging for many years now. I love to write and share my thoughts and ideas with an audience. Despite the fact that blogging can be time-consuming, I still continue to do it. I know that the internet has gone through many changes over the years with the introduction of social media, however, I think a blog is the ONE thing that will always stand the test of time. Over the years, I have watched many people abandon their websites and I always feel sad for them because more often than not, they were writing amazing content. But on the other hand, I totally understand why they may have decided to abandon the “rat race” of it all. As someone who works in social media, I know how frustrating it can be to constantly think about the algorithm or create SEO content for your website to appear in searches. But I truly believe that if we get back to the WHY, we would all feel more confident about the content we create. At the end of the day, I have MY reasons why I still blog, and I will share them with you down below.

Because I LOVE It!

For me, blogging is like keeping a diary. It gives me a platform to share my thoughts and feelings, and it's also a great outlet for my creative side. I enjoy being able to share my ideas and stories with others, as well as learn from the experiences of other bloggers. Plus, I get to engage with interesting people who are passionate about the same topics that I am!

But what keeps me returning to blogging is the sense of accomplishment that comes with writing posts and engaging with readers. Seeing your work published and having people comment on it or share it is incredibly satisfying. It's like having an audience to read your work, even if only a few people actually read it. That feeling is what keeps me going.

At the end of the day, I do blogging because I love it. It's a great way to express myself, stay creative, and connect with others who share similar interests. There's no better feeling than seeing your work published and knowing that it made a difference in someone's life.

CREATIVITY

Blogging has become a great way for me to stay creative and constantly challenge myself. Writing about topics that interest me or exploring new ideas helps to keep my creative juices flowing. Additionally, reading other bloggers’ work and engaging in meaningful conversations is also beneficial for my creativity. Through blogging, I am able to explore different ideas and concepts which helps to stimulate my mind and keep me from feeling stale or bored. Moreover, having a platform where I can share my own work helps me to stay motivated and engaged with my writing. The potential of connecting with people who are passionate about the same things as me is really exciting and a great way to stay creative!

It’s a GREAT way to make a difference!

Whether you're writing about political issues, advocating for a cause, or simply sharing your thoughts and experiences, blogging can be an effective way to get your message out there. Through blogging, you can connect with like-minded people, create meaningful conversations, and even inspire action. It's a great way to start conversations, educate, and ultimately make a difference. With the right platform and approach, blogging can be an invaluable tool for creating positive change.

At the end of the day, if you were ever a blogger, or thinking about becoming a blogger, I truly hope you decide to start TODAY. It’s never too late to start something that you love!
