Who KNEW PB&J Could Be So Yummy?

Some days just feel like little adventures, and my visit to PB&J With Tay was exactly that. I didn’t expect a peanut butter and jelly shop to bring me so much joy, but wow — this place turned out to be such a fun and cozy experience.

From the moment I walked in, I felt the vibe. It’s simple and welcoming, with that kind of comfort you can only describe as “homey.” The fact that it’s named after the owner’s daughter made it even sweeter — it felt like stepping into a family’s kitchen instead of just another lunch spot.

And the sandwiches? Absolute magic. I tried one of their creative combos and honestly had to laugh after the first bite because it was that good. Warm, toasty bread, gooey peanut butter, sweet jelly, and all these little twists that made something so classic feel brand new. I kept looking at Tay, and we both had the same expression — wide-eyed and smiling like kids at a candy store.

We swapped sandwiches back and forth, rated them like we were judges on a food show, and spent way too long deciding which one was the “best.” (Spoiler: they were all the best.) At one point we were laughing so hard that I realized this wasn’t just lunch — it was a memory.

I decided to make my PB&J special and add jalapeno, spicy jelly, marshmallow and bacon. Yum!

The best part wasn’t just the food, though — it was being there, soaking in the atmosphere, and making the kind of simple, happy memory that sticks with you. PB&J With Tay is definitely one of those places that makes you slow down, enjoy, and just have fun.
