The ONE Simple Way I Am Styling My Boho Chic (Patchwork) Handbag This Spring
Hey guys and welcome to a brand new blog post! Today I thought I would hop over into this space and share the deets all about my most favorite thrifted find thus far: My Boho Chic Handbag! It's just so cute!
Anyways, this past weekend I was out in these streets doing what I do best, and that's looking for the deals and thrills in the thrift stores. Grant it, I wasn't looking for anything in particular BUT you know it wasn't long before I found something that finally caught my little eye! I promise you every single time that I go into a thrift store I seem to ALWAYS run into these little handbags! I think it is a small sign that I need to build up a little collection but we shall see how that goes in the summertime!
Also, can we talk about how much I have been loving this headband recently? I love the fact that this goes with everything in my wardrobe at the moment and I know it is going to be my go-to staple piece for spring 2020!
Also, I have been rocking these glasses a lot lately (courtesy of my sister of course) and I am just waiting on the day that she tells me that I can have them! I know that won't happen though because I am ALWAYS giving them my stuff but they always want their stuff back when I borrow from them! Ha! It ain't right I tell ya!
I also recently purchased these little shoes from the thrift store and I have been soooo obsessed! At first, I wasn't too sure how I was going to style them but you'd be surprised on the many different looks that you can get out of this one style of shoe!
As soon as I popped on this dress then I knew these shoes were going to be a perfect match! I loved that this look gave me a kind of the '40s meets boho vibe and I am living for it! If I can duplicate this look for the rest of spring then I won't be mad about it!
I really love that this bag is filled with so many bright colors because it just reminds me of the beauty of spring and summer! I don't know if you can tell but ya girl is ready to shed those winter blues and step into those sultry spring vibes! Ha! I promise I won't make one complaint about the heat because dressing up in all of these winter clothes ain't working for me no more! #thestruggleisreal
3 Simple Ways I Style My Boho Chic Handbag
- Boho chic handbags are best put together with outfits that are flowy, fun and flirty! I don't know why bohemian styled items tend to always have long pieces of fabric so that it can give off this earthy feel and so a patchwork bag definitely helps enhance that look!
- Always, Always, Always, wear a pair of oversized glasses! I know a lot of people may think that glasses aren't that big of an accessory but they really are! I just love the way a good pair of big sunglasses bring together an entire look and won't even begin to talk about how they are total lifesavers for when you are having a bad makeup hair day!
- Last but certainly not least, pair them with jeans! But you can't just pair it with any pair of jeans but they have to be a good pair of bell-bottoms! I know some people may think those are outdated but they are NOT! I promise if you pair this patchwork bag with those jeans and a nice flowy top then you will be good to go!!
