Thrift Diary: Seeing What's Out There In The Stores Today!
Hey yall and welcome back to a brand new blog post! I recently headed out to the thrift stores to look for a few goodies and I thought I would pop over on the blog and share what my eyes fell upon while there!!
First things first, you know I ALWAYS gotta head over to the book section! I don't know what it is but ya girl is always searching for a new book to read! I have been an avid reader for quite some time now and I can fly through a book faster than lighting speed! Even though I love going to the book store to search for new books I like to always try my luck in a little thrift store first! Not only does it save me money but it also is a good way to read books that people have taken the time to kindly donate for someone else to use!
Yall, why is it that every time I go inside of a thrift store I ALWAYS find little handbags like this? Ha!
I also had my eyes on this cute little bag and I totally would have purchased it if it weren't for the fact that it had a few bumps and business on it! PRO TIP #1: don't buy something just because it's cheap, you gotta make sure that it's in good condition to even be considered to purchase!
This purse is sooooo cute for spring and I honestly could NOT get over how sparkly it was! However, I wasn't; a fan of the all-black vibe so I decided to put it in my "undecided" part of the cart! Ha!
Yall, as soon as I laid my eyes on this I felt like I had picked up a piece of heaven! Not only was this bag so cute but it was only $10!! Would you guys rock this bag? Let me know in the comments down below!
Ok, so the coolest thing happened in this particular thrift store! I was walking around minding my business and I saw this little hidden wall over in the corner of the store. Grant it, I am not the type of person to go looking for trouble but something just told me to go over there and check it out! After crawling through a few spaces I was able to enter into this secret space that had soooo many cute hidden treasures that I almost couldn't contain myself!
One of the very first things I laid my eyes on was this cute little black purse! You see, I have been on the hunt for bright-colored things to add to my wardrobe and it feels as the only things I have been coming across are the perfect fall/winter bags! Go figure! I feel like this ALWAYS happens to me when I am looking for something, I can never find it! But when I'm not interested in an item, I can literally find 1000 versions of it! #thriftingmadness
