Here is a little bit about my back story: In the summer of 2019, I applied to graduate school to pursue my MBA in Marketing. During my last year of graduate school, I worked as a Marketing Coordinator and my role was specifically centered around creating long-form blog content and short-form social media copy. After graduation, I accepted my first role as a Sales Coordinator and I THOUGHT I loved it. I had a dream office, the perfect schedule, and the most amazing boss a girl could ask for. However, about 30 days into the role I started to suffer from severe migraines, and I was always calling out of work. It was then that I started to realize I need flexibility in my personal life and career. I decided to apply to new copywriting positions day and night until I landed my first contract role. Since then, I have loved having complete control over my schedule and my life. I plan to write for a living (whether it's freelance or not) and share my journey while doing so!
