Visiting PB&J With Tay turned out to be way more fun than I ever expected. Between the warm, toasty sandwiches, the creative twists on a childhood classic, and laughing with Tay as we swapped bites, it felt less like lunch and more like a little adventure. A simple PB&J turned into one of my sweetest memories.
After the longest week ever, I stepped out into the rain just to breathe—and somehow came home with a bouquet of yellow tulips that felt like sunshine in my arms. Sometimes the smallest things—fresh air, raindrops, and flowers—are what bring you back to yourself.
Buying my son’s very first Halloween book didn’t happen the way I imagined—it wasn’t a picture-perfect bookstore trip, but a quick grab in the Whole Foods checkout line. Still, the magic is in sharing the story with him, starting a new Halloween tradition that’s all our own.
This summer with my 8-month-old has been pure magic — from lazy days together to his very first Superman exhibit. Watching his little eyes light up at the bright colors and displays reminded me how fun it is to see the world through his perspective. Motherhood hasn’t taken adventures away; it’s made them sweeter.
